Activated Utility Systems
‘one day you might look back and say ‘isn’t it bizarre that we used clean water to flush away our body waste’. All the toilet systems at Sheltered utilize reed bed filtration systems for our grey water, and a dry composting technique for our toilet systems. We also engage bio active solutions such as Effective Microbes (EM) to maintain a speedy breakdown and reduce an unwanted smells. The end result is full breakdown of nutrients and recyle to the land. After 12 months, our composted medium is put on our trees and improve soil fertility.
